On Saturday, February 23rd, 2019, Dr. Ismaela Dabo, Assistant Professor of Materials Sciences and Engineering, and Dr. Tom Richards, Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering and Director of the Penn State Institute for Energy and the Environment (IEE); led a presentation and workshop for our EnvironMentors students. Dr. Dabo conducted a computer lab on the design of materials for energy storage and conversion, while Dr. Richards talked about the awesome research being conducted at IEE. Our students were not only engaged but also excited to learn more about material sciences and renewable energy. Below are a few snapshots of the events.
