Dr. Richard C. Ciocci
Richard Ciocci is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University Harrisburg. Dr. Ciocci is a registered professional engineer with a PhD and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park and an MS in Engineering Management from the University of Dayton. His research interests have included design for the environment, lead-free electronics, sustainable engineering, and advanced manufacturing methods. His current research includes improved recycling methods, renewable energy applications, and smart home design for disabled seniors who choose to age in place. He serves as Chair of the Executive Committee of the Susquehanna Section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He also serves the college as the faculty adviser for the Formula Society of Automotive Engineers racing team.

Dr. Rukayya Ibrahim
My name is Rukayya Ibrahim. I am an assistant professor of mathematics at Penn State Harrisburg. I was born and brought up in Kano, Nigeria. I did my master’s in mathematics and statistics at Jordan University of Science and Technology. I got my PhD from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I am passionate about teaching and education. I am an aspiring writer and in my spare time, I develop recipes.

Dr. Dassou Nagassou
Dr. Nagassou has received his PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell in the field of energy engineering with a special focus in solar engineering. His recent works in solar-plasma reactor design for chemical processing of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane to producing alternative fuels have been published in renown peer reviewed journals. Currently, Dr. Nagassou is an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at Penn State Harrisburg where he continues his research in renewable energy. Prior to joining Penn State Harrisburg, Dr. Nagassou led a group of research laboratories for aerodynamics, plasmas, and space electricpropulsion in the department of aerospace engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before joining the University of Illinois, Dr. Nagassou was a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Dr. Nagassou area of research interest includes concentrated solar power, plasma processes for renewable energy, and plasma flow controls in aerodynamics.
